This gallery represents the core of Marais's current work. It’s where his shift to a more personal, authentic style is most clear. This gallery is a dedicated look at intimacy, queer identity, and human connection. It’s about creating a space of absolute trust, where people can be unguarded and vulnerable in front of the camera. This is the philosophy that guides everything.
Here you’ll see chapters 1 - 3 his ongoing personal series, ‘Men, Together’ which explores connection with a quiet confidence. Also on display is his work for BUTT magazine, several of his personal projects for Heavy Feral, as well as the Tom of Finland collaboration shown at Art Basel 2025 called "TOM ALL OVER MY BODY". And you’ll see how that same feeling translates directly into his major commercial campaigns. His work for the dating app Feeld and the UGG Pride collection are extensions of this same exploration. It’s about reflecting a reality, not manufacturing one.
